Customer Review

We were introduced to Peter by our gardener who had met him at another client’s property. We explained our thinking, and Peter was soon proposing two suggestions to incorporate the existing rockery layout. The question posed was "at what cost?" After considerable discussion we arrived at the preferred plan, received a quotation, and went ahead.

The plan was very much in Peter’s mind. He arrived with a blank canvas in the form of an extensive rectangle of butyl liner which was arranged over the area to become the base to the feature to which was added a number of new sandstone rocks. It soon became apparent that as the work progressed, so was the imagination! The important thing for us was not to interfere, perhaps a nod here and there, but wait and see what transpired.

What Peter has executed is a feature of larger area, and far in excess of our expectations, which has achieved all of our requirements, at a respectable cost, whilst improving the overall appeal of the rockery.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Peter as a friendly, professional designer, capable of providing entire satisfaction, whilst more importantly providing value for money.

Customer Review

Our new neighbours removed a hedge (with our approval) and replaced it with a lovely new fence but this left us with a very stark boundary line. Research on the internet put us in touch with Pete and his colleague Craig.

On a Monday morning they started digging and by Wednesday afternoon we had a lovely new border 80ft x 4ft complete with a variety of plants. Pete discussed with us before hand what sort of plants we like and what we didn't like plus a colour scheme. They did a super job, clean and tidy workers and to the time scale they had indicated.

Six months later I had a courtesy visit from Pete to check all was well. A few plants had not survived the first winter, Pete replaced these free of charge without being asked. One year on from then I have received another email asking if all is well and inviting me to contact him if there are any issues. Now that is what I call GOOD customer service!

Garden Stream

Project

The customer had several concrete ponds that were attached to form a stream of sorts, they leaked so they couldn't run the feature.

We relined them and changed the shape making it look more like a stream, the sides were filled with compost and planted up with water loving plants

Garden Landscaping & Planting

Project

The customer had a large area of rough ground underneath trees that they wanted planted up to become part of their garden. This was a project done in conjunction with CJF greencare.

CJF greencare cleared dead and dying trees, thinned unwanted trees to create an area that allowed enough light to come through enabling shade loving plants to grow happily. CJF greencare then prepared the ground and improved it.

Growing Gardens then designed a planting scheme that gave the customer good all year round colour from winter flowering Helebores to spring flowering dwarf narcissus to summer flowering Hydrangeas.
